Spread Betting - Recommended Reading
Like many forms of betting or investment, spread
betting of course has the potential to create losses
as well as winnings. That is why you should research
thoroughly before diving straight in. Luckily
there's a great selection of books out there which
have some great advice and tips.
The Beginner's Guide to Financial Spread Betting
by Michelle Baltazar is a really instructive
guide. As the title suggests, it really is aimed at
beginners and gives a decent insight into the
subject but without really delving into the
strategies available.
In
Sports Spread Betting: An Insider's Guide, the author, Daniel Townend, delivers an up to date
insight into all aspects of sports spread betting.
He talks to bookies and punters to get a really good
look at his subject. It's well written in a punchy,
witty style and Townend also offers a few tips of
his own on how you can beat the bookies. Worth a
read.
Spread Betting: The Football Fan's Guide by Brett
Arends
If you're going into spread betting focused soley on
football matches, this book could be right up your
street. It saves time by not devling into other
areas if spread betting and gets straight into the
details of the specific subject. The author looks at
